By definition, Buffer is a simple and efficient way to organize computation data. Users just need to know how to determine the Buffer order of Indicators in FXCE Giga. This order is shown in the MT5 Data Window.

Press Ctrl + D to open the Data Window, which displays the Buffers order of all Indicators currently in the Chart. The indicator's name and Buffer order are chronologically arranged from top to bottom and starting from 0.

In the above example, there are 2 Indicators: Moving Average and EngulfingCandle in the chart.

  • Moving Average has 1 Buffer named MA(50) and its order 0. This Buffer bearing the value of the red moving average on the Chart.

  • EngulfingCandle has 2 buffers named Engulfing Bullish and Engulfing Bearish. The above Buffer Engulfing Bullish's order is 0, bearing the value of the blue arrows. The below Buffer Engulfing Bearish's order is 1, bearing the value of the red arrows.

The way of determining the Buffer order is the same as above for an Indicator with any number of Buffers. To know what value Buffer bears on the Chart, move the cursor to the desired position on the Chart and check the corresponding value that Buffer shows in the Data Window.

When using Indicator in FXCE Giga to set conditions, Buffer order needs to be declared so that FXCE Giga can determine which Indicator's value needs to be used for calculation.

Note: Indicators without Buffer can not be usable in EA.
