Overview

ARNF-GOLD-M15 trades XAUUSD Single Shot is configured on FXCE Giga by member Ngo Anh Tuan (Telegram: @ngotuan81) of FXCE - EA community.

The EA trades when the market is in an overbought/oversold zone as determined by the CCI indicator. Entry point depends on the position of the closing price relative to the Hull indicator.

Strategy

Buy conditions

• CCI Index – BB(20) < -100

• CCI JMA Index (32.32) crosses up

• The candle close above Hull(20)

• Time Frame: M15

Sell conditions

• CCI index – BB(20) >100

• CCI JMA Index (32,32) crosses down

• The candle close below Hull (20)

• Time Frame: M15

Risk management

• Fixed Volume: 0.2 lots

• SL is 50 points from R2 and S2 of PivotPoint indicator

• R:R = 1:5

• Close the order regardless of profit or loss when having the following signal:

• Buy case : When CCI-BB (20) > 100 and VertexMod (14) signal overbought

• Close Sell order : When CCI-BB (20) < -100 and VertexMod Indicator (14) gives an oversold signal

• Start Trailing Stop when the price has run 639 points

Backtesting results

The EA backtested under the following conditions:

• Time Frame: M15

• Backtest period: 01/01/2021 - 25/12/2022

• Symbol: XAUUSD

• Balance: $10.000

The backtest result is evaluated based on 4 criteria:

• Drawdown recovery period = EDD * Number of months Backtest / Total Net Profit

• History Quality ≥ 99%

• Profit Factor ≥ 1,5

• Equity Drawdown ≤ 15%
